On the Road Again...

We stopped in Dallas to meet my brother's baby Addisyn, who was born 3 days after Isabella. This was a real treat for us. I can't believe we went 8 weeks with out meeting each other's babies but it was awesome. I can't wait to see her again.

On the Road... For Our First Road Trip

This was taken on our way to Houston. One of the many times we had stopped to stretch, feed and potty.

4TH OF JULY

She was all dressed up and went to see her cousin, Ellia. My brother Jeremy took some shots while we were over there. They turned out great.

First Night Away From Home

On Wednesday June 24,2009 Isabella and I woke up from a nap around 4:30pm and found our bedroom at 92 degrees. It was hotter ______ in there(you fill in the blank)! Our AC had quit working!! And let me tell you what will make me cranky... Waking up hot to a crying baby who is also hot. We were drenched in sweat. We immediately packed up and went to my parents house. Long story short we ended up being away from home for a few days while we waited for the busy AC guys to come fix it. But I managed to capture some a pictures of Isabella at Noni's house(on her couch) while we were staying there. This was her first official night away from home since she was born. (The hospital visit last week doesn't count.)

Baby Cates

When we found out that we were pregnant on Sept 6, 2008, we could not wait to tell out parents. However, the official "Grandparents Day" was the next morning. We went to Wal-mart and I bought these onsies. On them we wrote "Baby Cates luv's G'ma & G'pa. Then, on the back we wrote Grandparents Day 2008. The next morning we went to my parents house with our gift and presented it to them. They were excited. Then we called Preston's parents and told them and mailed them their onsies. I decided to take her picture in them, and boy am I glad I did cause a week later it doesn't fit.

Sweet Baby

We love taking pictures of her asleep. This is a time when we cherish how sweet and loving she is. We take these pictures for the future so we will be able to look back and remember. Hopefully she will stay this sweet for ever, but I too, know that the "terrible threes" are not to far around the corner.

First Fireworks

On June 28, she watched her first firework show at "Rockets Over Rhema" She loved them and was not bothered by the noise. She could not take her eyes off of them . If you look close you can see the reflection of the fireworks in her eyes.
